Jeff founded Charter Oak Capital Management in 2002 and has been providing personal financial management expertise to clients since 1992. Jeff helps clients through a process that develops personalized and customized solutions, where the primary focus is always his clients’ unique needs and developing long-term relationships.
Jeff is the Chair of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and its Portfolio Management Subcommittee.
As a strong advocate for community service, Jeff currently serves as President of South Church Affordable Housing Project in Kennebunkport and is a Trustee of Waynflete School in Portland. He also serves as trustee and on investment committees for various endowments in Maine. His past service includes terms as President of The Ogunquit Playhouse Foundation, President of Webhannet Golf Club and Chair of Maine School Administrative District 71.
Jeff and his wife Abby have two adult children, Justin and Olivia, and live in Portland, Maine. Jeff is an avid golfer and enjoys time on the water aboard his boat, “Bluechip.”

Sam joined Charter Oak Capital Management in the fall of 2006. He has been a practicing attorney since 1982 specializing in estate planning and probate law, as well as representing many small business owners. Sam became a Certified Financial Planner® after observing many of his legal clients needing objective financial advice.
Sam is a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and its Financial Planning Subcommittee.
Sam is very involved in community service. He serves as Vice President and a Board member of the Southeast Land Trust of New Hampshire, a land conservation organization in southeast New Hampshire. He Chairs the Dover Zoning Board of Adjustment and serves as Vice President of the Strafford Economic Development Corporation, a non-profit economic development organization located in Dover, NH. Sam is also a Commissioner to the Strafford Regional Planning Commission representing the City of Dover.
Sam and his two adult children live in Dover, N.H. He is an avid runner and participates in area road races on a regular basis.

Lena joined Charter Oak Capital Management in the Fall of 2007. Prior to joining Charter Oak, Lena advanced to Senior Auditor at a public accounting firm in Boston.
With a passion for working with individuals and their families, Lena found a calling as a Certified Financial Planner®. She helps clients discover what is truly important to them using a process aligns their deepest values with their financial goals.
Lena is a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and Chairs the firm’s Financial Planning Subcommittee
A native of Northern Maine, Lena now resides in Portsmouth, New Hampshire with her husband Dan, and children, Emma, Kate and Anna. Together they enjoy the outdoors with their dog Tilly and family trips to Lake Sunapee.

Karen joined Charter Oak Capital Management in the Spring of 2011. Before then, Karen worked in wealth management at A.G. Edwards and in international asset management and capital markets at Prudential Insurance Company of America.
As a Certified Financial Planner®, Karen helps her clients assess their current financial health and then develops a realistic, comprehensive plan to help them meet their goals by identifying opportunities and building on strengths. Together, Karen and her clients monitor progress and make adjustments when needed.
Karen is a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and its Portfolio Management Subcommittee.
Karen is active and invested in the community and serves as Board Chair of the Cocheco Valley Humane Society.
Karen lives in Eliot, Maine and enjoys core strength training and road races to support area charitable organizations.

Todd joined Charter Oak Capital Management in 2002, after beginning his wealth management career at Morgan Stanley.
As the Director of Client Services, Todd is responsible for managing the client service team and communicating Charter Oak’s investment philosophy to clients. Todd helps his clients by adding value with a unique process for defining goals, building strategic plans and monitoring measurable outcomes.
Todd is a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and Chairs its Behavioral Finance Subcommittee.
Ever passionate for service to the community, Todd serves on the Board of Directors of the United Way of York County and as Chair of the United Way of Greater Portland's Community Impact Committee for Education. He is a board member of the Kennebunk Lacrosse Club and is an assistant boys’ varsity lacrosse coach at Kennebunk High School. He also serves as trustee and on investment committees for various Masonic endowments in Maine.
Todd resides in Kennebunk, Maine with his wife Megan and their dogs, Hazel and Harper. He is an avid fly fisherman.
